For over 30 years, we have been producing steel structures for the industrial, energy, construction, and other sectors across Europe.
Due to the growth of international projects and increasing production volumes, we are strengthening our project management team and opening a Project Engineer position.
A Project Engineer at Levstal is a key engineering role with a high level of responsibility and expectations, where it is crucial to drive tasks to completion, keep contractors on track, and control quality, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate 5 to 10 contractors (welding, assembly, painting, machining): ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, deadlines, and technical specifications;
- Prepare and maintain project documentation from project start to delivery (drawings, specifications, certificates, reports);
- Participate in aligning technical solutions with clients and project team members;
- Support the Project Manager at all stages of the project lifecycle: analyze project progress, identify bottlenecks, and initiate improvement proposals.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in engineering support of production or industrial construction projects, preferably in steel structures, oil & gas equipment manufacturing, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, or ship repair;
- Proven experience in coordinating subcontractors: contract management, timeline and budget control, technical correspondence and approvals;
- Understanding of production cycles and processes;
- Knowledge of steel structure manufacturing technologies, welding standards, and painting processes is a plus;
- Fluent Russian and English at C1 level: negotiation and business communication skills.
